where did Obama stay before the inauguration
okay so he was elected president, had his ball but then three days later, he was inaugurated. Where did he stay in those three days? His own home, or does the prior president open the doors of the white house to the incoming president?

On Jan 15 2009 Pres Elect Obama moved into the Blair's house which is across the street from the White House. The Inaguration was on January 20,2009.
