about Philadelphia Eagles
Where could I find pictures of the 1948 Philadelphia Eagles Eaglettes or Liberty Belles?

While I couldn't find any pictures ofthe 1948 Eaglettes, I was able to find some information that might help: http://www.footballbabble.com/football/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/cheerleaders/
"The Eagles cheerleading squad debuted in 1948, but, at that time, they
were known as the Eaglettes. They kept that moniker until the 1970s,
when they were known for a brief period as the Liberty Belles."

I have a post card photo of the Eaglettes and the Philadelphia Sound of Brass (band) which is about circa 1968. Also know that the name Liberty Belles was the name of the basketball 76er "Liberty Belles" dance team of early 1970's. The Eaglettes also performed community service, jaycee events, store openings, race track special occasions, tv appearances and a full dance/entertainment show at Philadelphia Convention Hall. The Eaglettes ceased from existance after Jerry Wolman lost the team. Leonard Tose did not want the "Sound of Brass" organization.
