Where can you get tasty, yet good value street food in london? Please not the touristy places in camden thanks.

Tip for best answer: M$0.10
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My last trip to London, I don't remember seeing much street food like you would in Paris or Hong Kong...but I do remember that we wound up walking into a Pret a Manger quite a few times:

"Pret opened in London in 1986. College friends, Sinclair and Julian, made proper sandwiches avoiding the obscure chemicals, additives and preservatives common to so much of the 'prepared' and 'fast' food on the market today. The two of them had woefully little experience in the world of business. They created the sort of food they craved but couldn’t find anywhere else.."

It was a walk-in, the stuff is prepared and ready to eat..."pres a manger" in French...and walk-out thing. Delicious and very reasonably priced, too.
