Where can you find educational online games?

Where can you find educational online games?

I homeschool the kids, and was wondering what sites offer good educational online games?

I prefer the online games to be free. I thought online games will be nice to break up the day, and perfect for summer!

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Some of the educational game sites aren't visually appealing, but I found a few. One is called Arcademic (no, I did not spell that wrong) Skill Builders, which has math and language games.

Another site I like is called Knowledge Adventure, which has quite a few games.

There is a great site for finding education iphone and ipod touch games called ProdigyPatch.

As far as online games, there are quite a few sites with high quality games such as Arademics, DreamBox, Nick Jr Boost, IKnowThat, and PBSKidsOnline. Not all are free, and usually with the free ones you get what you pay for.

There are actually a lot of educational games for children online. The best way to find them is to go to google and type in "online educational game for kids" (without the quotes).

Some of the sites that my homeschooled daughter enjoys include:
source(s):
FunBrain.com
PBSKids.org
Funschool.Caboose.com
PrimaryGames.com
Gamequarium.com
