Pssst...(a grocery store) but SHHHHHhhhhh don't tell anyone. If the masses catch on there wont be enough grass fed beef (which is the norm for all beef). Yeah these things (supermarkets) sprung up in the early 40s...as in 40 A.D. and they have been around ever since. Crazy I know.

Actually, most grocery stores do NOT carry grass-fed beef. Virtually all the meat, eggs, and dairy products that you find in the supermarket come from animals raised in confinement in large facilities called CAFOs or “Confined Animal Feeding Operations.” Cattle are quickly fattened up on grain so they can be ready to go to market as quickly as possible. These animals systems were no meant to live off of grain, so they quickly become sick and must be pumped full of hormones and anti-biotics to keep them alive long enough until they are slaughtered.

Try going to the Co-op directory website and using their search utility for food buying clubs/co-ops. I get much of my local produce/pastured meats/eggs/milk through my food-buying club, because while I could go to most of the famers on my own, going as a group cuts down on gas.
