about Cheez Whiz
Where can I purchase the old Cheez Whiz spread in California, Arizona, or Oregon? All I can find is the Cheez Whiz dip. Are they the same?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I tried to spread your question a bit thinner by also looking into Cheez Whiz in a spray can. Turns out there is some controversy about whether C.W. ever came in a can. My memory is among the apparently-faulty ones, and many of us must be thinking of similar products and using the term "Cheez Whiz" as a kind of synonym for "Velveeta" and any soft orange cheese stuffs.
Anyway, Kraft's website is extremely unhelpful and incomplete on the subject. (couldn't even "ask question" or "comment") Wikipedia has this one sentence that does not bode well for your search: "Cheez Whiz was reformulated in the early 21st Century to include both a changed formula, and a new, wider jar that allows dipping straight from the container. This new formula applies to the Cheez Whiz Light 15.5 oz and the Original Big Cheese 15 oz packages." Sounds like the old formulation SHOULD be off most shelves by now. (I hope.)
At my grocery store in Phoenix, Arizona this a.m., there was only the dip jars. Good luck in your search.

Well, if I had seen this sooner I could have removed the comma @doubleminaz, but that would have changed the original meaning of my response; eh?
Let me now state, I like @doubleminaz! ;-)
Thanks, Commenter #1. (But, could you remove the comma between "I" and "like"? ;-) )
Okay, I remember Cheez Whiz in a can and I can picture the can clearly in my mind. However, I, like the answerer, can find no proof, so I am rating this as Best Answer. ;-)
