Where can I post that I lost my dog, in Bangor, Maine?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I’m sorry to hear about your missing dog. The best that you can do to relocate your pet is probably to get the word out to as many people as possible. I would first print out flyers to give out to people around the neighborhood as well as to post up on public spaces to let people know that a dog is missing out there and a family is missing it very badly. You will want to put up a recent, clear picture of your dog, your contact number, as well as any important information relating to your pet such as any special conditions, or whether it will respond to any special names.
Alternatively, you can also post a lost pet notice on Craigslist. It may not be as successful – depending on how many people actually read Craigslist in your area, but it will be helpful.
In addition, you can also post your ad on online websites such as Flealess (http://www.flealess.org/lostpets/maine.html).
Good luck and I hope you find it soon!
