As far as I can tell, this is the US branch of the temple, and no doubt they can advise on getting in contact with the original, and whether that would be appropriate for you. If not already well prepared, it might be a good idea to learn some of the basics, and a bit of Mandarin, before going over to China for example.

M$Training there is absolutely awesome. The academy is run by Shaolin Masters from the Shaolin Temple in Henan. To train under these guys is just a unique experience, as soon as I have enough money, I'll definitely go back :)
There are other western students, the academy is actually for westerners. But since it is a very young academy, there are only a few students so far, so the atmosphere is very friendly and familiar.

M$The price on their website includes two three hour (private) sessions each day, a private bedroom with a western bed, western toilet and hot shower, and three home cooked meals a day seven days a week. You absolutely won't find this kind of experience anywhere else in China. You literally become part of the Ren Family...
They teach their family style, which is quite practical, mixed with Sanshou and Sanda (Chinese Boxing). Also, two of the masters there are 32nd shaolin monks and they teach shaolin styles and forms as well as taijiquan to interested students. The third master is a 60 year old Shifu whose knowledge of Chinese Martial Arts is encyclopedic. He has been training since he was a boy and knows dozens of styles.
