Where can I learn to use Teflon cooking ware?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Nothing sticks to a Teflon frying pan and they are very easy to clean, if ....
Yes, there are a few precautions one should take. First of all one should never overheat a Teflon pan, so once there is sufficient heat and the food is cooking, one must turn the heat down.
Secondly, never use metal knives, forks or spoons when cooking with a Teflon pot or pan, it scratches the Teflon and eating what comes from scratching a Teflon pan is not healthy. So always use a plastic or wooden spoon to stir or turn meat over.
With regards to the health issue when cooking with Teflon pans, I think that there is a big difference whether, as reported, a pregnant mother is working in a Teflon factory or if we use the end product. If used correctly, I have not encountered any health problems with Teflon pots and pans as opposed to pure aluminum cooking ware which is not healthy at all to cook with.
The other thing one should observe is never to cook with a Teflon pan that is worn or scratched. It belongs into the trash can or recycle container.
I have found a very good website that explains more on Teflon and I think it's well worth studying it:
