There are great beaches in Atlantic City where you can go swimming. The beaches in the city and South Jersey are considered as some of the Best Beaches in the U.S. You can find white sand on Jersey Shore beaches. Aside from this they are safe and clean which will add to your beautiful experience when swimming here.
Another great thing about the Atlantic City's beaches is the gradual slope upon entering the water. While other beaches in the U.S. have strong beach break that cause sudden drop off but no on Jersey Shore.
You will also find a sand bar 50 ft from waters edge that you can wade through the calm Atlantic Ocean.
The Atlantic City beach begins at Jackson ave on the southern end and travels a span of 3.4 miles to Maine Ave. in the inlet.
