Where can I get the best deal on a 42" LED TV? (online or in-store)

I'm looking to buy a new LED television for the past three years or so. I think I'm finally ready to pull the trigger and buy one (huzzah!!)

Where can I find the best deal on a 42" LED TV at this very moment, the end of December. Criteria - LED, Energy Star, Good reviews/ratings, 120Hz or greater.

I've seen some good deals on Amazon ($650 for a good 42" Vizio w/ free shipping) but I was wondering if there were any other deals (TV's that come w/ free goodies/blu ray players/rebates) going on out there.

Many thanks for your TV guru skillz!

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

if you really are interested in buying led tv
then donot try any cheap investments
i would suggest : SONY 55" Class (54.6" diag.) BRAVIA EX710
Model Number: KDL-55EX710
it is $1800
it is priced rude but the best features are also available.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 stars (Screen size measured diagonally.)
Model features: Full HD 1080p, Edge LED backlit with slim design, Motionflow 120Hz refresh rate, BRAVIA Internet Video, Wi-Fi adapter ready, Ambient Sensor, USB port

i bet you cant buy anything better than that with such budget.

and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi. I have just found another Vizio FullHD T.V. on Amazon, and the price has been reduced. It fits what you were looking for, Vizio E420VL, the price was $689.99, now down to $579.99. Check it out. They also have a good L.G on sale, but weren't sure if you wanted that brand. Sorry, just saw it wasn't LED. I apologize for stupid mistake!

Thank you
