You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

According to the following category on Wikipedia, India has 30 bridges:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Bridges_in_India
However as bridges come in all shapes and sizes there may well be numerous smaller bridges in villages and towns that are not counted. If you want information on these bridges as well then I don't think such information is available, but please somone feel free to prove me wrong :)

I agree. India is a large country with many rivers. I find it impossible that it only has 30 bridges. It may have 30 famous bridges but not 30 total.
@Philipy you do have a good point there, I wasn't really expecting to get the best answer for this Q at the time of answering but thought I would share that information as a starting point.
This answer is seriously flawed.
India is a huge country with probably thousands of major bridges.
All that wikipedia page means is that there are 30 wikipedia entries about particular Indian bridges.
It's pretty depressing that so many people are voting for this answer.
It undermines my faith in the Mahalo voting process.
For comparison, the Wikipedia category for bridges in California has 46 entries, and the category bridges across the river Thames has 107 entries.
Like with all Wikipedia category pages, they're just and index to what articles people have created on Wikipedia.
Think about it 107 bridges across one river in England, 46 in the whole of California, and 30 in the whole of India? Does that sound remotely plausible?
