Where can I get a Festivus Pole?

I was wondering where one would get them.
Tip for best answer: M$1.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think buying one completely defeats the purpose. If you're going to give in to strict traditions, other people's standards, and consumerism, join us over at the Christmas table. If you want Festivus, grab a pole from anyone and stick it in your living room.

Good point. Even Festivus has become commercialized. How sad.

You can buy them online, actually. This site listed below has the only Festivus Pole that meets Frank Costanza's standards (so it claims), and is a measly $37.50 plus S&H.

If you'd like to save a few bucks and make your own, and don't give a hoot about Frank's standards, just get an old Christmas tree stand and stick a six-foot pole in it.

Whatever pole you choose, don't forget to have the "Airing of the Grievances" immediately after dinner, followed by the "Feats of Strength."

I usually start my 'Airing of the Grievances" on Thanksgiving and just run it through until New Years day to get the full Holiday spirit going!

The site you gave, thefestivuspole.com, is fraudulent. I placed an order for a pole at $37.50, and never heard from the seller again. I had to make a claim through paypal to get my money back. Interestingly, he jacked up the listed price to $65 almost immediately after I placed my order.

Festivus Pole
In the episode, although not in the original O'Keefe Family celebration, the tradition of Festivus begins with an aluminum pole. During Festivus, the Festivus Pole is displayed unadorned. The basics of the Festivus pole are explained by Frank in two separate situations:

Cosmo Kramer: And is there a tree?
Frank Costanza: No, instead, there's a pole. It requires no decoration. I find tinsel distracting.
Frank Costanza: It's made from aluminum. Very high strength-to-weight ratio.
When not being used, the Festivus Pole is stored in the Costanzas' crawlspace.
