Where can I get a cheap iPad?

I am somewhat interested in picking up an iPad, but I will be frank, I am far too cheap to pay full price Thus my name cheapgamer.

Where should I go for the deepest discounts on the iPad? Are there rebates or coupons that can be combined with a sale for maximum price cutting?

Did you pay full price?
Did you think it was worth the full amount?
If not what is a fair price?
Tip for best answer: M$0.43
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

In order to buy an iPad at a much lower price, I suggest you take a look at considering purchasing a refurbished iPad. A refurbished iPad, usually happens in cases wherein a buyer returns the device due to some physical anomaly on the product which may involve physical damage or with technical issues. Another reason would be the product is somewhat overstock, but this rarely happens on the iPad.

iPad that have been sent back to Apple are remade into tip top shape and usually undergoes the same process prior to being resold at a much lower price. One thing I find great with buying refurbished iPad, is that it has the same warranty enjoyed by users of brand new iPad.

You can purchase this renewed iPad directly at the Apple Store, as well as other online retailers. I also found an online store,cellphonesplus.com, which sells Apple iPad Tablet PC 16GB Wifi (Unlocked), for just $649.50, from an original price of $785.50.

I am not very keen on owning an iPad and so far I have no regrets since I believe in waiting for a newer and upgraded version and saving for it. My husband and daughter wanted to own one and I am optimistic that Pad 2.0 will be much better so I think I will be buying it. I often browse for prices and comparing the prices of iPad and so far the cheapest one that I found is at amazon.com.

This iPad is 16GB Wifi which costs $598.95, new @$539.00, used @$510.99

These are the features of this iPad:
9.7 inch LED backlit glossy widescreen
16GB flash drive
Wi-Fi
Hardware Platform: PC
Processor: 1
RAM: 256
RAM Type: DIMM
Hard Drive: 16 GB
Size: 9.56 inches, 7.47 inches, 0.5 inches
Weight: 1.5 lbs

I don't currently own an iPad, but I think they are worth the full amount in many cases. It all depends how much it will be used as well as what it will be used for. However, if you never use it after the novelty factor wears off, then it's probably not such a great bargain.

If I was in the market for a cheap iPad, I would probably start on eBay and go from there. Craigslist is another option, but in that case I'd probably want to meet the owner in person first to make sure that the iPad was in proper condition.

Hello there, @cheapgamer!

Haha! I agree as I too want to buy anything for almost nothing. But on iPad I think it is impossible to find a cheap one that is of good quality. You will either settle for a broken one or the imitation well we could always find them nowadays. I have done my own research and I still could not find any store offering this at a super low price. Most often, you'll get them for over $450. However, here's the good news @cheapgamer! I have found a site that says you can have the iPad for free and yes, you heard it right! You just need to sign up at http://gifts.freebiejeebies.co.uk/ , complete one trial offer, refer a number of friends and get your chosen gift - free!

I wish Philippines were included :( . I want to get a free Macbook, too!
