Where can I find the lyrics to old love songs online?

My aunt gave me a box full of sweet love songs. I love the songs and would love to sing along instead of just humming along. Many years ago, I would have sat by the player and listened to every single line, but with my schedule, I can only use my free time to go through some lyrics and just sing along. Does anyone know any website that has lyrics of songs by Dolly Parton, Aretha Franklin and the likes of them?

Tip for best answer: M$0.75
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Good question! It is very hard some times to find a good web site that has all of the lyrics to all of the songs you would like to know!
The best place to find the older and more classic song lyrics, would have to be something along the lines of lyrics.com. They have a huge variety of songs, and song choices with the full lyrics to anything and everything under the sun. I like this place, because they have many bands and many hard to find song lyrics by under ground and not very heard of lyrics. I would definately suggest this site, as it is the only one that I have ever gone to for situations like this!Good luck and I hope it works well for you!

Here is a great lyric source for Dolly Parton. Nobody will ever convince me that she didn't so the best job on "I Will Always Love You". An extra special bonus on this site is the PINK color scheme!

For Aretha, try this site:

http://www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/aretha_franklin/

As for the others, searching the same site that is linked above for Aretha should prove useful, or just google "artist name lyrics" like this "aretha franklin lyrics"

Good luck and have a great time singing these great old songs.

What a lovely song by a lovely lady!
