Where can I find the cheapest textbook prices for college?

Tip for best answer: M$0.14
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There are a number of resource pages on Mahalo that will steer you in the right direction depending upon what kind of textbook you are looking for.

Cheap Books, Download Textbooks and Free Textbooks are good pages to start from. If you have a specific book in mind look at Google Book Search. For an ebook, look at the page free ebooks. Unfortunately many textbooks in ebook format may come with time limits so there isn't the traditional used textbook market for ebooks.

Find a kid who just took the class and buy his off of him for slightly more than what the on campus buy back rip off artists would give you, but still way less than any other source.

Halfrpice.com is your best bet. Their books sell cheaper than eBay and I've bought from there before. You may also look at your locat used book store under the yellow pages and see if any of them buy used text books. Good luck. I have a bundle to sell myself.

I use chegg.com it is very popular web site for college students where you can purchase or rent textbooks. Also, if you would use CC102784 promo code you would save 5% OFF!

Another web site for texbooks that I use called textbooks.com, these two are the best!

Go to abebooks.com. They have both international editions and hard copy editions. Their prices are cheaper than other online stores.
