Where can I find sample budgets?
I have been looking for sample budgets to base my own finances on. I have tried a few that didn't work for my particular situation, and am looking for one that will provide some helpful guidelines for my household. I would like them to include a modest savings plan, and basic necessities.

An example on the website themint.org shows a basic break down of a monthly budget:
Add total income from all sources.
-Total Income: take home income after expenses have been removed such as taxes, union fees, and health insurance, interest income.
Add total expenses: fixed and variable.
-Total Fixed Expenses: household expenses that are monthly necessities such as utilities, mortgage/rent, telephone, loans, transportation, and money saved in a bank account.
-Variable Expenses: household expenses that can change such as clothing, personal care products, food, household supplies (cleaning products), medicine/health supplies, and entertainment.
The totals for income and all expenses should be equal.
