One of the most popular canyons to visit in Dalmatia is the Cetina Canyon, which is located in the port town of Omis. Omis is located approx. 25 km. south east of Split. Split is the second largest city in Croatia. In Omis, is where the Cetina River meets with the Adriatic Sea. In the Cetina Canyon, you can enjoy White River Rafting, canoeing, and kayaking. There are also some wonderful places in the canyon to enjoy rock climbing. As far as hiking in the National Parks in Croatia, you can enjoy this in most of the Parks, and the Risnjak National Park is one of the most well known for hiking.
