Where can I find recipes for bread machines?

What websites, forums or blogs offer tried and true recipes for bread machines? Do I have to have a specific bread machine for each recipe or will all bread machines work with all recipes?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

One machine fits all and will work for all recipes made for bread machines, as well as most recipes that aren’t bread machine specific.

I have personally found that any bread recipe can be adapted to work in a bread machine. All you have to do is substitute regular flour with bread machine flour and substitute a packet of yeast with a packet of quick rise yeast. I have also used many recipes without bread machine flour and they have worked just fine, they’re just denser. I also use my bread machine to mix and knead the dough only. Then I put it in a bread pan, let it rise and bake it in the oven.

There are several websites that have great recipes and even some sites dedicated to bread machine breads only. Allrecipes.com and food.com offer some good recipes from white bread to raisin bread. Bread-machine-recipes.com is dedicated to bread machine breads and has one of the largest cookbooks I’ve ever seen for bread machine recipes.

Bread Machine Digest also has recipes. They offer helpful tips and a beginners’ section that guides the rookie from buying a machine to baking your first loaf of bread, as well as easy foolproof recipes.

Good luck and happy eating!
