Well, you could try going to their official website- http://www.johnsoncitytn.org/. Click the link at the top which says “News Room” and the most important current news will be displayed. Its mostly municipal news though, so it may not be very interesting.
Also try reading the Johnson City newspaper, which is the Johnson City Press. The link is: http://www.johnsoncitypress.com/. The paper covers all the latest local news, news from the Tri-Cities, news from Tennessee and news from around Tennessee.
The Johnson City News and Neighbor is also a good source for the local news. It’s a community newspaper, and you can find it online at http://www.newsandneighboronline.com/.
The Loafers magazine is an art and entertainment magazine that covers the Tri-Cities. Go here: http://www.theloaferonline.com/. Also, if you need business and economic news, then go here: http://www.bjournal.com/. The Business Journal covers the economic news in the Tennessee as well as Virginia.
