Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The bandwidth for your PC implies the hardware limitation of your device, but then it is in the internet category, and you do reference a browser. So I'll throw out that the majority of computers have WiFi card which have a peak bandwidth capacity of 54 Mbps, or an ethernet card or at least 100 Mbps. OF course you could have a better card, but most likely the number you are looking for is the internet connection speed that you have.

The easiest way to check the speed that your computer is accessing the internet, is by visiting a site which measures the bandwidth as provided by your Service provider. This can be done through a number of different services. My Personal favorite is speakeasy.net:

http://www.speakeasy.net

There's a link at the bottom of the page that says 'speed test'. This will guide you through the process of measuring your service providers 'bandwidth', and hopefully give you the number your looking for.
