Where can I find information on walking for health?

How much walking is healthy]? How do I start walking for health? How long do I need to walk for my health? Will walking make me healthier? Will walking help me lose weight? Will walking help my diabetes?

I find that mayoclinic.com has helpful info on this subject. They also have a second link to a 12 week beginners schedule from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute that I find very helpful.
