Where can I find an Asian proxy that would speed up my Malaysian high-speed internet to surf US based sites?

I'll be in Malaysia for a while and my access to the US sites are limited to about 100 kB/s. When I surf sites in Singapore/Hong Kong I have access to my full 4mbps and average 420 kB/s.

Where can I find a proxy server or a VPN server in Asia (preferably Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea or Japan) that would provide me a faster access to US websites and downloads.
Tip for best answer: M$5.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Tor is known for its anonymity not for its speed. I've tried it before, but it's sloooow. Doesn't help my connecting. What I need is probably a paid solution, I know I could setup my own VPN/Proxy on a server (or VPS) in the region, but I'm looking for is more like StrongVPN but without encryption and that is in Asia.

I think @bobbyg was looking for something a lot more specific than "google.com ".
