You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There are different websites that you can utilize to find a reputable veterinarian in your area.
VetRatingz – this site allows you to browse rated veterinarians and rate veterinarians in your area. You can also search by clinic name. http://www.vetratingz.com/?gclid=CNOPzt-Xp6cCFYnc4Aod9C1aBA
Angie’s list – allows you to search by zip code. http://reviews.angieslist.com/pets/veterinarians.aspx?af=103001&RefID=PPC:112&marid=sksRlU4tn&utm_term=veterinarians%2520reviews&s_kwcid=TC|20006|veterinarians%2520reviews||S|b|6717861881
You can also do a Google search for ‘Veterinarian reviews (your locality)’ and find different websites that review vets.
I have found that the best way to choose a vet is not only be reading reviews but by visiting the practice. If you call them and tell them you are interested in becoming a client, would like to tour their hospital and meet the practicing veterinarian(s), most will be more than happy to show you around.
Also, when looking for a vet, see if they specialize in anything. Some vets specialize in a particular animal, some in surgery, some in dental work, etc. You may also want to see if they offer boarding, grooming or training services if these things are important to you.
