Haunted houses and hayrides are one of the best parts of the Halloween season. There are many different levels of ‘scary’ when it comes to haunted houses and hayrides. Depending on how scary the spooks are there may be an age restriction. Sometimes children under a certain age, for example 12, must be accompanied by an adult. However if the attraction is considered family friendly there usually isn’t an age restriction. Usually the more publicized and scary the attraction, the greater the cost will be. Usually events that are all over the radio and newspaper and have 2 hour lines will cost anywhere from $10-$25 per person.
