Where can I find a good deal on an iMac {new or refurbished}?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This is the cheapest one I found which had the keyboard with it.

$657.77 for a Refurbished iMac from Apple.

Certified Pre-Owned iMac G5/1.8 GHz, 768 MB of RAM, 160 GB internal drive, internal SuperDrive, internal 56k modem, includes keyboard and mouse, Airport Extreme and Bluetooth installed, 17" TFT display, OS CD is not included, OS 10.4.11 installed

I have always had good experiences buying refurbished items directly from Apple.

http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/mac

This 24" imac is $1300 for example.

If the Apple store is too expensive for you, there's usually people looking to sell used ones on kijiji or craiglist. Just keep in mind that you then run the risk of needing to send it into Apple if there's something wrong with it.

You can try to use shopwiki in order to find a good deal. They show comparisons on different store and let you see which is the cheapest in a page.
