Where can I find a good CSS-2 introduction?

Dear Mahalo Answers,

Thanks for offering this service. I learned about it from Jason
Calacanis' tweet a few hours ago and I am looking forward to getting a
reply!

I am looking for a good introduction to CSS-2, preferrably with
examples. Can you make a recommendation? Web site or book, either is
fine by me. If it points out browsers that fail to follow certain
parts of the CSS standard as they are introduced to the reader, that
would be a great bonus.

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

w3.org seems to have been the standard for code introductions, and it is the same with CSS2

Here is a link to their introduction.

And here is a link to their full CSS2 section

The world master of CSS is Eric Meyer. (He was in on writing the language.)If you'll fetch his three books and learn them (then go to his websites mentioned in the books) you'll know everything everything about CSS. The books are, in the order they should be read: Cascading Style Sheets: the Definitive Guide; Eric Meyer on CSS; More Eric Meyer on CS
