Where can I compare prices on Claritin?

How do I compare prices on Claritin? Is there a generic OTC version of Claritin that is less expensive? Where can I find printable coupons for Claritin?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The best way to compare prices on Claritin and its OTC similars is by going to the your local drugstore or Wal-Mart. There are off brands/over the counter brands are available in store. Ive found on Amazon.com Loratadine 10mg tablets are $14.19-$21.99 - These are comparable to Claritin.

Coupons for Claritin are available on their websites - http://www.claritin.com/claritin/offers/index.jspa
they offer quite a few coupons for download and print.

There are a few sites online that offer comparisons of prices. NexTag shows how much the product is selling for on Amazon.com, as well as Walgreens, AmericaRx.com, Drugstore.com and planetRx.com. You can check it out here: http://www.nextag.com/Claritin--2700350/brand-html

Sometimes doctors have coupons too, so talk to your doctor and make sure that this medication is best for you and is able to be taken with any other medications you may be on.

I see an allergist due to my own allergies and those of my two daughters. On one of my first visits to the allergist, he told me that the best allergy medicine available today is Claritin, which is highly effective for both inside allergies such as dust mites and pets and outside allergies such as oak trees, golden rod, etc. He then proceeded to tell me that many people are taking Claritin unnecessarily, paying for it each and every month. He advised me to check out Loratadine 10 mg, which is generic over the counter Claritin. He sent me to Sam's Club to get this.

I went to Sam's Club and looked in the over the counter drug section. Sure enough, you can purchase 350 pills, each which work for 24 hours, for about $12 or so. You can purchase a year's worth of Loratadine (generic Claritin) for probably less than you pay for your copay each month for your allergy medications. I have since spread the word to family and friends, and many people have made the switch and are thrilled with the results and the savings.
