For Halloween wigs I suggest checking on Ebay first. You may be able to save yourself a bit of money. Halloween stores do sell wigs for Halloween but they can be expensive. I always hate to pay alot of money for something that will be worn for just one day.
At Ebay, you can type in "Halloween wigs" or just "wigs." You should have alot to chose from. I suppose the benefit to going into a Halloween specialty store is that you can try the wig on and see how you look in it.
Party supply stores usually sell Halloween costumes and wigs, as well.
