It's always good to first check online for a refurbished MacBook! Even if a store is not in Edmonton, Alberta, there may be someone who is selling one on an auction site like eBay or a classifieds site such as Google Base or Craigslist. You may also want to check out a site such as Gazelle.com http://www.gazelle.com that purchases used computers and refurbishes them. You may be able to purchase a refurbished one. You may also be able to find one on Amazon.com.

I second that. PowerMax.com always has awesome deals on refurbished machines. And they're more trustworthy than Craigslist or even eBay.
