When traveling in Copenhagen, Denmark you might want to try these specialties at the local restaurants.
National specialties:
• Smorrebrod: a Danish lunch dish of a slice of dark bread with butter, topped with slices of meat, fish or cheese with a generous garnish. Be sure to grab and knife and fork to eat this sandwich
• Koldt bord: a buffet-style lunch with usually includes a variety of fish, meats, hot dishes, cheese and deserts
•Morgen-complet: Danish breakfast which may include an assortment of breads, rolls, jam and cheese and/or sliced meats, boiled eggs and warm pastries
