Where are Amazon S3's data centers?
I know they are located "throughout the US and EU", but which cities are the data centers actually in?

It doesn't look like they want to give up what cities those might be in. Everything they put out says "multiple data center" Doing a bit more digging, I found a job opening for a S3 Q/A, project manager position and that was in Seattle. So it can be deduced that one or more of the data centers is in Seattle.
Other possible locations where one could speculate are the locations where their software development centers are located. It's not much of a stretch to think that some of the data centers are also in these cities. Obviously, the non US or EU cities would be out of consideration.

* Dublin (Ireland)
* Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad (India)
* Cape Town (South Africa)
* Iaşi (Romania)
* Shibuya (Tokyo, Japan)
* Beijing (China)
* Tempe, Arizona (United States)
Take it a step further and maybe some of the data centers are in the same cities as their distribution centers.

From the looks of it, you will not get a definite answers from Amazon or an Amazon employee who probably has to sign a non-disclosure during and after employment.
