When your driving, do you follow posted speed limits or travel at the speed of neighboring cars?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I pay close attention to my surroundings.
On the highway... there are times when all traffic is moving faster than the posted speed limit, and continuing at the speed limit would be more dangerous.

On the city streets... I will always pay close attention to traffic and even help to slow it down, when it's being abused. There is never any reason to speed past a school or area that has a high volume of foot traffic.

I travel at the speed limit or maybe a few miles over. I figure if other people want to go fast enough to get a ticket they'll go around me! If the rest of the traffic seems to be going less than the speed limit, then I'll stay around that speed. Maybe they know something I don't!

Do drivers tailgate indicating your not following the speed of the group?
