When you watch an episode of an old TV show, does it make you feel nostalgic, or just old?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There was a show I was never allowed to watch (after the first time I saw it) because it gave me nightmares. So as an adult I'm able to sit down and watch the entire series on DVD with my wife. We love how campy and obvious the plots are and seeing mistakes (like microphones, bad props). Love it.
What show was that, you ask? Why Dark Shadows of course!

M$It depends on the show. If i can remember seeing it as a child, then it just makes me feel old. For instance, I can remember where I was living and why I used to watch it. "The Dukes of Hazard" is a perfect example. I used to watch that on Friday nights because that was the most popular show on at the time. I was very young and living in my grandparents house because we didn't have the money to live on our own (we being my mother, sister and I). I remember really liking that show and thinking it was the best thing on tv. Now of course I look at it and think - what the heck? That show is so bad it's not even funny.
However, if it's a show that is older than that, a show that pre-dates me, then I feel nostalgic.
