Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I prefer happy ending, but I don't like endings that are feel forced just to give the audience what they want. The novel "Love Story" for me is one of the greatest love story ever written, but it is far from a happy ending. There are many happy ending books that I don't remember. I think it depends a lot on the story itself, it is possible to have a happy ending or not or how the author wrap the ending, whether it's happy or not. although I don't realy like Titanic, but it's a lot more realistic and touching that Jack died and Rose continued to live. Having both survived would be too easy and undermined Rose' inner strength.

Not always; it depends on what I'm reading/watching. One of my favorite episodes of M*A*S*H has a very sad ending, the one where Radar leaves, and he leaves his teddy bear behind. The Hawkeye finds the bear and says "Goodbye, Radar." That always makes me cry.

I don't know if I expect one in the sense that I assume I'm going to get it, but I do demand a happy ending. That means, if I don't get one, I'm usually unhappy with the movie overall. Open endings used to drive me crazy too, but if they're happy and open I can usually tolerate it.
