Hi @nyuser33, as of now there has been no confirmation regarding a release date for a new Dead Rising game. In case you didn’t know, Dead Rising 2 was just recently released last September 28, 2010 and is available for all major next generation platforms (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC). A 3rd game in the series though is supposedly in the making but don’t count on it being released anytime early as Capcom is surely working on other games. The developer is focusing on all platforms (even handhelds such as the upcoming Nintendo 3DS) so it’s better not to expect a 3rd game so soon after Dead Rising 2.
My advice is to get Dead Rising 2 for the meantime if you haven’t yet as it’s every bit just as good as the original.
