According to IMDB, the movie is in production. They are tentatively saying it will be out sometime in 2011. I checked the author's website, and it looks like as of September '09 they had a script written and the producer was still looking for a director. At this point, it's really too early to tell. With the movie being in such an early stage of development I wouldn't count on IMDB's estimation being right. The movie could come out in 2011, but there could easily be setbacks that would push the release date back further.
