Many of the characters from the earlier books and movies will return for the last Harry Potter movie. The principal characters who committed to making the sixth Harry Potter film agreed to make the last two. Since the last movie was broken down into two parts, all of the characters that were in the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will also appear in the second part.
It is worth noting that Tom Riddle and Albus Dumbledore have been played by more than one actor during the course of the Harry Potter films.
