In October 14, 2009, in a conversation with Christopher Paolini and his editor she said:
"Christopher is busy writing away on Book Four and we can't wait to share it with the world! We don't have a date yet...but stay tuned." (1) So there is still no date of release for this book....but they say at source 1 it will have a green dragon on the cover
