When will the Aptera car be available? How can I buy one, and what will they cost?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Aptera has stated that the cost of the vehicle will be between $25k and $45k -- most auto experts seem to think that the higher end of that range is most likely. The company is taking deposits, and claims to have a waiting list of about 4000 buyers.
You might not see this one on the street for a while, though. Funding has been an issue for the company. They're currently being floated by a utility company called NRG until government funding kicks in; they've had trouble getting assistance because the 2e is technically considered a motorcycle, which prevents it from getting automobile funding.

M$The Aptera website currently is not releasing a timeline. They state, "We believe by initially solving every delivery, support and service issue locally, we will be better prepared to provide vehicles regionally and nationally when the time is right."
