When will Lord of the Rings Extended Edition be out on Blu-ray?
I already have the normal (i.e. cinema) edition of Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy on DVD.
I don't want to buy either the Extended Edition on DVD or the normal version on Blu-ray, but I probably would like the Extended Edition on Blu-ray.
Any idea when it is due to come out?

An exact date has not been released to date. Currently, Amazon lists the tentative release in 2011 or 2012. I had read somewhere that the Peter Jackson camp was concentrated on the production schedule for The Hobbit, and they do not want to reallocate resources to the blu ray package for the extended editions of the LOTR films at this time.
