Ida in November 2009. Ida peaked as a Category 2 Hurricane, with a max wind speed of 105 mph. Ida did $6.1 million in damage (US dollars) and killed one person. It made landfall in Nicaragua and was a direct hit on Venice, Louisiana but did not make landfall there.
