When is President's Day and is it a national holiday?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It is the third Monday of February. This year it is Feb 16. It is an official Federal Holiday but the official name is Washington's Birthday. It is also a state holiday in most states. Some of them call it Washington's Birthday and some call it President's Day.

Presidents Day is a Federal holiday and is not usually observed by non-government institutions/workers.
