The next film in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn will be released on November 2011. This finale of the Twilight film series is being released as two parts. So there are two release dates. The first part will be released on November 18, 2011 and the second part will be released a year later on November 16th, 2012. Although there are only four novels in the Twilight book series, the author Stephenie Meyer herself recommended splitting the final fourth film into two parts as she felt the book was too long. The decision on whether to split the film was toyed with for a long time before the announcement was made in June 2010 that there would be two films. The release date of the first part of Breaking Dawn was announced first and the release date for the second part was not stated. Finally the second part’s release date was also officially announced, and by July 2010 the filming schedule for both parts was announced.
