When does Mahalo Answers goes out of "beta"?
When it's not "beta" anymore?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

When will it be advertised? That won't happen until a lot more kinks are worked out and Mahalo is better able to predict how many servers and how much bandwidth they need. For starters, every tab on every page needs to work reliably. Profiles can't randomly show up empty, new features shouldn't be showing up every day (as much as I like them it is a sign of a beta). The number of emails to the feedback address should taper off considerably and the site should feel ready for prime time before the beta tag is removed.
Depending on how fast they want it to leave beta it can be as soon as 4-6 months from now or longer. If they stop adding new features daily and just work with what they have it can be closer to a few months, but if they keep adding things and then have to troubleshoot them as we move forwards it will take considerably longer.
I don't work for Mahalo though so that is just my speculation.

M$MA is still in a prototyping/proof-of-concept phase.
Probably a few more months... maybe the end of the year.
