The San Diego Chargers share a rich History in the NFL and have six players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They were originally known as the Los Angeles Chargers and debuted along with seven other teams in what was known as the AFL or The American Football League. They moved to San Diego in 1961 and their current home field is Qualcomm Stadium which is located in Mission Valley, San Diego. This is a very popular stadium and visitors are advised to arrive at least two hours before kickoff, and oh yeah if you can you may want to carpool!
The stadiums name changed tree times and currently the telecommunications company Qualcomm holds the name rights until 2017.
