A great online source for video games is always Ebay. Unfortunately there, you never know what condition the game truly is unless it is in fact sold new. If you are looking at online sources for video games, I would recommend going to www.RetailMeNot.com for coupon codes. There is a large selection of coupon codes for just about every website out there.

M$I did a little research on this and the oldest report that I can find was published in July 6, 2007. It says that the prices of video games dropped 60% in the first eight months after their release. You can see the graphs that are presented in http://blog.videogamepricecharts.com/2007/07/video-game-prices-drop-60-in-first.html. It's quite alarming but I don't think this will get any better. According to the latest report which was posted on September 9, 2010, video games sales drop 10% in August of this year.
In my own opinion, this happens because of the worsening piracy. Many gamers are choosing to download their video games online for free instead of buying them. Well in this tough economy, everybody seems to want everything for free, lol. And it’s this. Why would you want to buy when you just can get the same video for free? So the retailers have no choice than to drop the prices of their items in order to attract the gamers to still patronize the original video games.
