When did the Moonlighting TV series started?

Who was the director of this TV series? Is there a remake for Moonlighting?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The TV series Moonlighting staring Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepherd first aired in the USA on the 3rd of March 1985.

In the UK the release date was the 29th of May 1986.

In Sweden it was known as “Par I brott” and its release date was the 31st of August 1987 and re-released on the 27th of June 2005.

In France it was known as “Clair de lune” and the release date there was 9th of March 1987.

In Poland it was known as "Na wariackich papierach" and the release date was the 3rd of October 1992.

This TV series won three Golden Globes. The series ran for five seasons and in total there was sixty-six episodes.

There was not one director responsible for all sixty-six episodes here is a list of the directors and the number of episodes that they were responsible for.

Peter Werner (9 episodes, 1985-1986)
Christian I. Nyby II (7 episodes, 1985-1986)
Dennis Dugan (5 episodes, 1988-1989)
Will Mackenzie (4 episodes, 1985-1986)
Allan Arkush (4 episodes, 1986-1989)
Paul Krasny (4 episodes, 1986-1989)
Christopher Hibler (3 episodes, 1986)
Artie Mandelberg (3 episodes, 1988-1989)
Jay Daniel (2 episodes, 1988-1989)
Sam Weisman (unknown episodes)

There does not seem to be any plans to remake this TV series at present.
