when did he retire

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Bo Jackson retired from football (Raiders) in 1991 from a football injury on Jan. 13, 1991. After he had hip surgery, the Royals (baseball) let him go but he was picked up by the White Sox, for whom he played 23 games in 1991. As his hip continued to deteriorate, he had to have hip replacement surgery. After he recovered from that surgery, he returned to the White Sox in 1993 and then played for the Angels in 1994. Before the 1995 season began, he retired from baseball.
