The iLife software bundle was first released in January 2003. Since then it has evolved a lot, and has a lot of advanced features today. For example, iPhoto now has face recognition and supports GPS-tags from the camera. Also iMovie has become more advanced, making it possible to create not only funny home movies, but actually professional looking movies.
